Landscaping, Drainage & Walling
Heswall - Wirral
This landscaping project is to sort out a major drainage problem on the existing front driveway which is sloping towards house causing flooding in the house when heavy rain comes. We shall be rebuilding a retaining wall further away from house and installing a lineal drain in front of it to catch surface water as it comes down the sloping driveway. We shall also be installing a land drain through a permeable path along the front of the house which follows on from permeable steps on gravel path. From the rear of the patio we shall be creating a stepping stone path through a gravel area leading to the sheds at the back of the garden. The gravel areas shall be trimmed off with a decorative sett and natural cobble. We shall also screen off the lower garden with trellis and archway.
